WHAT IS A CALCIUM CHLORIDE CONTAINER DESICCANT?

Aquablue's calcium chloride container desiccant is a specially engineered moisture bag and container desiccant strip that absorbs water vapour continuously throughout your voyage — preventing container rain, mould, rust, and cargo spoilage.

Why calcium chloride? Unlike silica gel (absorbs only 20–40%), our calcium chloride desiccant absorbs up to 300% of its own weight — staying active for the full 50-day voyage, not just the first week. Absorbed moisture converts to stable gel inside breathable nonwoven / Tyvek packaging — zero dripping on cargo.

HOW TO USE

20ft: Hang 6–8 calcium chloride desiccant strips on both walls at 1.2–1.5m height

40ft: Hang 12–14 strips every 80–100cm on both walls + 2 at door end
